Wednesday we went to the Circus with Grandma and Grandpa... It was really fun, and Zayne LOVED it... I had been so sick that day but knew that Zayne would love it so I peeled myself off the couch and went. We only stayed for the 1st half, that is all I could last... But it was so fun I will definitely take him again =)

LAZY DAY
Today has been a lazy day! I am thinking Zayne is feeling a tid bit under the weather cause he has been wanting to cuddle ALL day... don't get me wrong, I LOVE days like this... Just hate that usually when he is like this it just means rough long days and nights are ahead...

*~*Christmas 2010*~*
Zayne started off the Christmas celebration with going to see Santa at his Grandma's work Christmas party. (It is always nice to see him there cause he gives the little kids a gift back of treats and the line is not long!) He did so good this year, he didn't cry! He got his bag of treats and was a happy camper.
Christmas morning was great! Zayne got so many fun things!

Pictures from today...
Potty Training: DAY 2 & DAY 4
Day 2 of potty training went really good. He only had 2 accidents all day! He also went #2 in his potty! I was so proud I took a pic on my phone and sent it to family so that I could "brag"... haha.. is that weird? I don't think so! Worst part of the day was when I left for 20 min and came home to find Grandma and Grandpa had put a diaper back on him cause he pee'd on the kitchen floor... tisk tisk!
Day 4 was today (Sunday) he was very reluctant to peeing in the potty this morning and I wasn't going to send him to Church without a diaper so he used one most of the day. At like 9:30 I let him try to use the potty and he just sat down and went. Tomorrow I am going full force with it again.

Potty Training: DAY 1
Day 1 started off a little rough, not because he didn't know what to do or he went all over; it was for the pure and simple fact that he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. He usually LOVES sitting on the potty, but that morning he was off it. He got annoyed when I put books in the bathroom for him to look at while on the potty. So I put it off for a few hours and looked on the internet for creative ideas to help start the process.
I found a website that said to get a doll they like and ask the kid to show the doll what to do and get excited when the doll uses the potty. So I grabbed Mickey and put big boy underwear on him and did my BEST Mickey voice I could and told Zayne: "Mickey needs to go potty, but doesn't know what to do. Can you show him? He is scared." Well that was it, Zayne showed Mickey where to sit and how to pull down his underwear. After the Zayne was all for the potty.
He went 7 times in the potty that day. The weird thing is, when he has big boy underwear on or pants he has accidents, but when he is "Free Balling" it he makes it EVERY TIME.
Anyone that knows Zayne knows he has an obsession with shoes and wearing them CONSTANTLY! So I snuck a pic of watching t.v, with 2 shirts on, no pants and his snow boots on.

Oh the joys....
I remember just a few weeks ago thinking to myself, "I can't wait til Zayne starts talking more, and can tell me what he wants..." Boy what was I thinking?!?! I now here the word NO over and over again each day, but it isn't the nice polite no, it is the yelling NO! Zayne is getting such a personality/attitude... can't decide how I feel about this quite yet, hee hee.
It amazes me how much he changes week to week... one week he is barely talking, the next week he is throwing out sentences. One week he is a kind gentle little boy, the next week he is growling and yelling No constantly. I swear I blink and my baby is gone and my toddler is throwing fruit snacks across the room at my head. He still has his cuddly times where he remembers he is my little man, and I adore those times. My heart melts every time I am just sitting there and he walks up to me and kisses me on the cheek, or my forehead, or when he grabs my face and kisses me on the lips and yells "I LAU!" (I love you).
I have decided to start potty training him on Friday.... LET THE FUN BEGIN! haha. I think about how nice it will be when he is potty trained but I also find my heart ache at that part of him being a baby also being gone.. what is next?!?! So I will make sure and let you all know how this goes haha.
Guess I just need to come to grips with the fact that my baby can't be a baby forever, but no matter how old he gets he will ALWAYS be MY baby!
(Oh and I will post Christmas pics soon, my Grandma has most the pics on her camera so I am going to see if she can e-mail them to me)
