~*~Family Time~*~

A few weeks back we had our family fly in from Florida. It was SO great to finally meet them. We stayed in Park City for most of the trip.....So here are some picks from that..Danielle, Cayden & Cory (Big Brother) at the bowling ally..

Lindon Days

Well this weekend was the Lindon Days.. always a fun time. Friday night we all headed over to the mutten busting, which is always fun, how can you not love watching little kids try and ride a sheep? Haha. Since it was a rodeo thing we of course put Zayne in Cowboy attire, boots, shorts and a plaid shirt. He was adorable! (As usual)

When did my little baby get so big?

Zayne has gotten quite attached to his Woody doll, it come a lot of places with us...

He loved the sheep and the cows, when the cows would walk by he would MOO at them.

The next night was the fireworks and live band... always my favorite.

The band was good and Zayne liked dancing to the music. Once the fireworks started Zayne laid down and just watched them all. I love the Lindon fireworks because you are so close they are right above you so you can just lay flat and enjoy them...

KaNgArOo ZoO

Had SUCH a fun day today! Zayne and I met Emma and her son Jaymz at Kanagroo Zoo today so the boys could get some fun boy time in! Jaymz and Zayne met the 1st time at the Lindon pool kiddie pool, (Jaymz shared his pool toys with Zayne, instant bond!!) and kicked it off GREAT, so we had to get them together for another play-date. Unfortunately Jaymz had hurt his leg a few days before so he couldn't run and jump as much as he wanted. But him and Zayne played really good together. Emma and I worked up quite the sweat climbing up the HUGE slides with the boys on our backs... think it made us more tired than the boys! Ha Well here are some picture of the fun day.....

Heber Play-Date

So last week I went up to Heber to visit with one of my oldest friends, (we have been friends since elementary school days) Mckell. It was so fun to see her again and let the little kids play. Her daughter Hadley is SO cute! At first things were a little, whats the word? HOSTILE. Haha. Hadley is a little rumbler, but so is Zayne. They started out mostly fighting over toys...

McKell had set up a swim pool in her backyard for them to play in... they didn't really play in it though, mostly stood outside of it and played.

Then Zayne decided to try a trampoline for his first time EVER! He loved it, I have video of it but can't get it to upload for some reason. Grrr. I love this picture of him and Hadley though, so cute.

Then after all the fun of playing on the tramp and sliding down the water slide we took them to feed the ducks. This is them in the car before we headed off...

Zayne was SO excited to feed the ducks, squealed the whole time when the ducks would come up for the bread. It was so fun to watch the 2 little ones. One duck came up onto the grass to get some bread from Hadley, it was so fun for them.

And after a fun day with McKell and Hadley it was time to head home, and good thing we left when we did cause Zayne was tuckerd out.

BaCk YaRd CaMp-OuT

Last night I did the 1st Annual Backyard Camp-out... it went..... pretty good. Here is me, super excited about the camp-out, and Zayne really into is coloring...

Me and Zayne put up the tent (ya I don't need a man to put up the tent for me, I got this single mommy thing down!) It was pretty easy and Zayne LOVED it! He thought it needed to be shot with the bubble gun a few times to break it in, lol, I LOVE him!

Then it was bubbles & S'mores time! He was more into the bubbles than the S'mores, oh well, pretty sure next year it will be the opposite.

Then he wanted to slide the night away! He slid down the slide a good 100 times, no joke. He got pretty daring and went down backwards, sideways, and even tried going down naked (he didn't like that way all to much.. friction can be a bitch, lol)

Once it started getting really dark he walked the grounds, he was loving the whole playing outside all night... until it got dark.....Sadly enough about the time we were gonna go to sleep I realized Zayne isn't to fond of the outside once it is dark (he must take after his mommy, I am scared of the dark outside, I think I may have watched to many UNSOLVED MYSTERIES as a kid and to many CSi's as an adult). Then it started to lightning, thunder, and rain.... so we had to move indoors.

Maybe next year we can pull off a whole night outside. All in all it was fun and I plan on doing it a lot more with my PRIDE AND JOY! Being a mommy is the BEST thing in the world. You get to do all the things you loved as a kid with you own child and see their face with all the smiles and laughs.
