{{ Lindon Days--Oh the FUN times }}

 Day 1:

First to kick of the MOST FAVORITE 'Days'... Lindon Days off we went with my friend Suzette and her daughters Lexy and Havyn (Zaynes best friend) to the music and movie in the park. It was really fun, they got frisbies and played around until it got dark enough to watch the movie "How to Train Your Dragon'. Super fun night and can't wait to go again next year!

MOVIE TIME!

Day 2:

Huck Finn! This was the first year Zayne did this and we were able to go with his best friend Havyn and my friend Suzette again, the fishing didn't go so great so we went and let the kids play while we waited for our FREE snow-cones... it was well worth the wait and another fun night.

 

 

 

 Day 3:

One of my FAVORITES! The mini rodeo where little kids ride the sheep and calf's, super fun, except when the wind picked up and started blowing dirt all around, luckily it was right when the half time mayor candy race was just ending and Zayne was still able to participate in that and get himself some candy

 

 

Day 4:

This day was jam packed with the fun started by taking Zayne to his FIRST parade (ya, I know, I kinda suck, but I REFUSE to take him to a jam packed parade every year where he has the chance of getting snatched up in the crowed...paranoid much? ya.)

...Then later that day I took Zayne to the Firemans Spray Down, first time they did this, and it was fun except for the fact that the foam they sprayed for the kids left their hair smelling funny...for a few days... so hopefully next year they just do water!

.....THEN later that evening it was music in the park and fireworks! Zayne got himself a light saber, and pulled out some dance moves that were amazing..but sadly enough looked like something I would do...not a good thing! Then it was the fireworks....ALWAYS my favorite and Lindon did not dissapoint, honestly the BEST fireworks show I have EVER seen! Beautiful.

{{ 1st Day of Preschool }}

Today was Zayne's first day back at preschool. He was all stoked to go and not scared at all! When I pulled up to his school he said, "hey this is where I go to school!" He recognized it from his open house the week before which was great. Then I went to let him out of the back seat and was informed, "Mom, don't walk me to the door, I got this!" He is a hoot, and growing up so fast. He had a great first day and told me that he learned when you kiss someones hand it goes straight to their heart, so they had a piece of paper for me to trace my hand on so if he misses me while at school he can kiss it and it will be like I am there....FREAKIN' CUTE! He also told me about how they all sat in a circle and he stood up and said, "Hi, I am Zayne" then everyone said, "Hi, Zayne!" He had a great first day, I am excited for all the fun things he is going to learn this year, he loves his teacher and that is AWESOME!

{{ South Dakota }}

On our way to South Dakota there was a flatbed roll over and we were stuck in traffic for about 45 min. way better than when it first happened and word was (from our new semi-truck driver) that it would be 2 hours! Zayne and my mom of course made friends while walking around... not surprising at all if you know my mom!

 Finally after staying awake from 5 am until 1 pm while driving he FINALLY FINALLY fell asleep! My mom and I were so happy because he made sure he TALKED the whole time he was awake. He is an awesome traveler and did really good on such a long 2 day drive, but he did talk A LOT!

Once we got to the hotel the first night. He was so happy and made sure to let us know! He told us: "This place is great! I love it here. I got popcorn, I got chocolate cake and I got to go swimming!"

 Zayne had way to much energy for my grandparents small of a house so we walked down to the park and played. On the way back I felt something slimey hit my leg and turned around to see a frog! Z thought is was cool, but was not going to even try to touch it!

At dinner with everyone, these 2 boys were a HANDFUL. Garret it my moms friends grandson, and he is the same age as Zayne. They were having so much fun and everyone thought they looked like twins it was  funny!

These pictures were taken is Lusk at a drive up restaurant that we stopped at. FUN FACT:: When I was a baby and went to South Dakota with my parents and Grandparents we stopped in this same place. So I  HAD to snap pics of Zayne there on his first trip out to meet his Great Grandparents.

It was a great trip out and am glad Zayne finally was able to meet his Great Grandparents in South Dakota!
