Allergies....

Allergies suck, and poor Zayne has had them all week. Poor kid looks a mess...He has this new thing where when ever he has snot or even just something on his mouth he swipes his whole arm across his face smearing the food, spit or snot across his cheek. Can't say I am proud of that (and I am pretty sure I taught him that when we was little...my bad), can't wait until he starts feeling better. I have had allergies the past few days and am dying.

The other day I went to school and class was canceled so we could attend a showing of 'Othello' in the outside courtyard for class. It was all great, except my allergies were in full swing! I sat on the grass in the free section, cause I am cheap like that, and it was a long 2 hrs of sneezing, itchy eyes and running nose.

I am all good as long as I don't go outside, so is Zayne, but he has recess in school and his teacher just called to make sure he wasn't sick. I had to inform her it was his allergies. I am horrified. I am the mother of 'The Snot Nosed Kid'... 'tis a sad sad day.. at least he is still so cute with snot across his face =)

I ain't 2 cool 4 school

Last week was my first week of school for the Fall Semester. It was weird this semester I wasn't even nervous...guess I learned there is nothing to be nervous of. I am just taking 2 classes this semester, Humanities of the Arts every Wednesday night, and Sociology of the Family every Thursday night.

I have been dreading the Humanities class since I started back to school last year so I though lets just get this out of the way. Well the class seems like just plain busy work, and my teacher is an Art person, a free soul if you will. So she is kinda hard to follow what she is trying to say, she tends to go off on little things in the middle of what the assignment is or what the task is, so it is gonna be a long semester. Other than that it shouldn't be to bad.

Now Sociology of the Family is a class I can tell I am already in LOVE with. It is just interesting and my teacher is GREAT! He is very chill, and makes it fun. The book we use in class is online, cause he thinks we all pay enough for school as it is...how cool. He gave us an extra credit assignment already to, to watch "The Social Network" and write 2 1/2 pages of a review and how it effects the sociology of the family. It is definitely going to be my favorite class this semester.

I feel as though I could have handled another class this semester but now I will just have to wait. I will definitely take 3 classes next semester!

A sad day...

Zayne has had a BFF for quite some time now, his buddy Gabe. Well Gabe and his family are moving to Arizona tomorrow, and I am so sad that these two boys will no longer be able to play together. I am hoping to try and take a trip down to Arizona sometime soon and see my BFF Jill and having Z be able to see his BFF Gabe. His mom and I are already planning on letting the 2 boys skype each other so they can keep in touch...they are so cute together.. here are some pics of they boys being cute as usual...
